Calvinites celebrate Valentine’s day in style
For the children it was a day of fun, play and delicious food. The learners also had an opportunity to show off their creativity to be crowned Mr and Miss Valentine.
BURGERSFORT- Valentine’s Day came early to more than 900 learners of Calvin College on Friday February 13.
Children at the college celebrated the day of love a day earlier as they would not be at school on Valentine’s Day.
For the children it was a day of fun, play and delicious food. The learners also had an opportunity to show off their creativity to be crowned Mr and Miss Valentine.
Principal Ms Lorraine Britz said the idea was to teach children to love one another and to spread love to other people.
Miss Limpopo Teen Obakeng Kgwedi, crowned the Miss Valentine, Millennium Kgoete.
