Fans of bowl gather on the greens to celebrate love
It was all fun and games at the Lydenburg Bowling Club on Saturday during the Valentine's Day Family Fun Day. The community members played a three best ball per game bowling and most touches.
It was all fun and games at the Lydenburg Bowling Club on Saturday during the Valentine’s Day Family Fun Day. The community members played a three best ball per game bowling and most touches.
In addition to the bowling activities the community members enjoyed home-made bread, salads and a braai.
Palling Ferreira, vice-chairman of the bowling club said they appreciated the community members who came and enjoyed the day with them.
“We would like to thank the people who are not members of the club for attending the fun day and spending it with us,” he said. “We will be having an open day on May 9. We would like residents to join us at the bowling club and spend the day with us,” he added.
