Liquor city hyper back in business
Not only alcohol is on sale at the store, shoppers can now buy refreshments and cold drinks as well. Manager Mmalegodi Phasha said they worked hard to ensure the store could operate again.
BURGESFORT- After being destroyed a blazing inferno in December last year, well-known liquor outlet, Liquor City Hyper is back with a bang. The store was reopened last month and is now again providing locals with affordable alcoholic drinks.
Not only alcohol is on sale at the store, shoppers can now buy refreshments and cold drinks as well. Manager Mmalegodi Phasha said they worked hard to ensure the store could operate again.
“The past two months was a difficult time for the management of the shop but through God’s grace we are back, this time we are selling our alcoholic drinks at affordable prices. Our staffs is still kind and helpful, from the security staff to the cashiers. Our shop offers better service than that at most of our competitors.”
Phasha says they have a lot of stock to sell to local taverns owners and also to stokvels.
Liquor City Hyper operates from 08:00 to19:00 on weekdays and on Saturdays from 08:00 to 17:00. The shop is situated at Simon du Toit Street, just next to Hendrik’s Panel Beaters. Some of the Irish whiskeys on special this weekend include Jameson, Tullamore and Paddy.
