Grade ones get fancy at annual tea party

The grade ones at Uplands Prep School were taught how to conduct themselves at a tea party during a fun lesson last week.

Learning the alphabet is a lot of fun, especially if it means you can have a tea party when you get to the letter T. Uplands Prep School’s grade ones had their annual tea party last Wednesday and surprised teachers with their good manners.

The pupils, with help from their mothers, brought beautiful table cloths, flowers, tea sets and elegant finger food to school and got to work setting the tables. They enjoyed tea, delicious food and some had so much fun that they declared it the best party they had ever been to.

After the fun was over, the children cleaned and washed up, delighting staff with their hard work.
