Business chamber puts Lydenburg on the map
“The map will make it easy for the user to go around Lydenburg/Mashishing, since it has pictures of landmarks which one can be able to use to identify their location,” she said.
LYDENBURG – The Lydenburg/ Mashishing Business Chambers has introduced its first-ever town map. The aim is to make it a household map and planning to make sure that every home owns one. According to Gerda Whitehorn, the map covers the entire town including the locations that surround it.
“The map will make it easy for the user to go around Lydenburg/Mashishing, since it has pictures of landmarks which one can be able to use to identify their location,” she said.
“For example if you need to go to the Old Voortrekker School, there’s picture on the map which shows you how the building looks like and it will be easy for one to locate the area because one knows what they are looking for,” she explained. “The map has a list of local businesses and a telephone list,” she added.
