Local churches participated in the Jesus Walk and people from all walks of life came with only one mission: to pray together.
LYDENBURG – United in faith, Christians in town came together on Sunday May 22 at the entrance of Thaba Chweu Municipality’s (TCM) building to pray for the community, TCM and the country.
Local churches participated in the Jesus Walk and people from all walks of life came with only one mission: to pray together.
The walk was an initiative of the Rehobot Gemeente Lydenburg.
According to Past Dries Strydom, the purpose of the gathering was “to come together as children of God to put our thoughts together to ask for a better community which is safe for our children and every resident”.
“We would like to thank all the churches and everyone who attended the prayer on Sunday. I would also like to say thank you to Hilda Roos for organising the entire event,” he said.
