New classrooms ease the burden
Chartwell sponsored two proper teaching facilities.
Personnel of Lowveld High School (LHS) can finally heave a sigh of relief after the Chartwell Group recently donated two brand-new prefab classrooms to the school.
According to Charmaine Tecklenburg, finance officer of LHS, the school governing body (SGB) and principal, Jane Wandrag, were in desperate need of additional teaching space and tried to secure local sponsorships. “After consultation with the general manager of Chartwell, Edward Morton, the company came to our rescue when they offered to assist in this matter,” Tecklenburg said. Chartwell sponsored two proper teaching facilities. The staff and learners expressed their gratitude towards the Chartwell Group and said they couldn’t wait to open the facilities’ doors. “The learners are now in a safe, comfortable, learning environment and teaching can take place without any further problems,” Tecklenburg concluded.
