International cycle tour for Mpumalanga
The department of Culture, Sport and Recreation (DCSR) plans to introduce a six-day cycle tour to the province this year.
MBOMBELA – MEC Ms Norah Mahlangu-Mabena announced during her recent budget speech that the Tour de Mpumalanga Cycling Race is to take place in October.

It is organised in conjunction with the Mpumalanga Cycling Federation. The route will take riders from Loskop Dam to Mbombela Stadium.
Mahlangu-Mabena says it is envisioned to become an international race by 2017.
