LHS presents its one-act wonders

This year's best actress award went to Gracious Mazibuko while Dzunisani Nhlabathi was crowned best actor.

MBOMBELA – The four houses of Lowveld High School (LHS) created a fun-filled Thursday when they presented their One Act Play Festival.

According to Ms Madelein Kruger, head of culture, this particular festival takes place every second year and aims to encourage pupils to participate in cultural activities at

the school.

“We believe in well-rounded of them and this year we had a total of 35 learners on stage,” she explained. Each house had to produce a play of 30 minutes and this year house Bathurst won with it play Joined by the hip. This year’s best actress award went to Gracious Mazibuko while Dzunisani Nhlabathi was crowned best actor.
