Princess for a day: Here is the lucky winner

One of Hoërskool Bergvlam's CANSA debutantes completed one of her fund raising campaigns last week when she handed the winner her matric farewell voucher.

The projects of Hoërskool Bergvlam’s CANSA debutantes and ambassadors are in full swing. Throughout the year these learners raise funds for the organisation as well as awareness about the disease.

Last week Tarryn Semmens completed one of her projects when she handed over a full matric-dance hamper to the winner of the lucky draw.

The “Princess for a day” raffle tickets were sold at R100 each. The pamper voucher was valued at R16 500 and consisted of hair, make-up, dress, nails, jewellery, photography, chauffeur-driven car and a cosmetics voucher.

The lucky winner was Rob Ferreira High’s Bongiwe Mnisi. She won after PWC audited the entries and made the draw last week.

Even her date’s evening wear was included in her prize and she had no more worries before the big day took place later this year.
