Children learn more about values and skills

"We would like more children to come attend our weekly Tribe meetings on Sunday at 16:00 at Kellysville Primary School.

KELLYSVILLE – On Youth Day children from Kellysville were treated to an entertainment-filled fun day by Tribe.

Tribe is a local youth initiative that was started eight years ago. According to Mariaan de Lange, one of the members of the organisation, the aim of the event was to reach as many children as they could.

“We would like more children to come attend our weekly Tribe meetings on Sunday at 16:00 at Kellysville Primary School.

“We want them to recognise the values of life within themselves and from others around them.

“Our aim is to help the kids to learn skills that can help them grow and which they can use for the rest of their lives,” she added.
