Successful career exhibition for the Tubatse learners

BURGERSFORT- More than 6 000 learners from grade 10 to 12 from various schools in the Greater Tubatse Municipality were addressed on how to make informed career choices during a career exhibition recently organised by Tirigatso trading. The exhibition was held at Nthame Primary School.
Various institutions such as the Sekhukhune FET College, Tshwane University of Technology, Brooklyn College, Boston College, Nosa Nursing college and Baal Perazim College guided the learners about courses they can choose at their institutions.

The manager of Tirigatso Trading Organisation, Masela Ramadimetja said they also helped the learners in applying for enrolments at universities.
“We recently helped Sehlaku High School to get a laboratory and previously assisted local schools with fund-raising,” she added.
Ramadimetja revealed to the newspaper that they would be organising the exhibition annually. She urged learners to choose careers that are suitable in the ever-growing economy of the country, especially in Tubatse with the booming of mines.
Learners were briefed on entry requirements for the various career programmes and on how to apply for study loans timeously to avoid disappointment.
