Clean-up project creates opportunity for the unemployed

LYDENBURG – Several Expanded Public Works Programme (EPWP) employees of Thaba Chweu Municipality recently cleaned the whole of Voortrekker Street leading to Mashishing.

Director of this project, Mr Thulani Ngwane told the newspaper that this cleaning campaign was part of the EPWP programme to keep the town clean and neat. “This is one of the key aspects of this programme. All streets need to be cleaned and this was part of the service delivery in the municipality.”
