Barn dance gives opportunity to bond
With a barn dance as this year's theme, the 300 guests arrived in style to be carted to the hall with a horse and carriage.
MBOMBELA – Learners of Curro and their parents were in for a big surprise at the school’s annual fund-raiser event that was recently held.
With a barn dance as this year’s theme, the 300 guests arrived in style to be carted to the hall with a horse and carriage.
According to Ms Tarryn Collie, marketing manager of the school, the guests also had the opportunity to dust off their dancing shoes and learn how to line dance to the beat of a live band.
“It was an amazing evening and without a doubt more than just a fund-raiser. It was an opportunity for parents and kids to spend time together and get to know one another,” Collie explained.
According to her the money raised will be used for upgrading and adding additional facilities.
