KGOTLOPONG – After their printer was stolen at Mathafeng Secondary School early this year, Tubatse SUPERSPAR noticed the hardship experienced by teachers and learners and donated a brand-new Kyocera photocopier to the school.
On Thursday, June 18, the management, led by Phindi Mnisi, handed out the machine to the school.
Mnisi said SPAR always strove to improve the lives of their customers and wanted them to be educated.
“We want architects from this crop of learners, we will also hire some of them at our stores. The machine will ensure they can access everything with ease as it is a scanner, printer and copier,” she said.
Principal of Mathafeng, Mr Tumisi Mabelane begged the thieves not to steal the machine again.
“We pray that our printer will not be stolen again, I will ensure the security is tight as we want the future generation to also utilise this printer.”
The handover ceremony was attended by local Cllr Mr Velly Mmoyane, members of the school governing body (SGB) and learners.
