Annual grade seven trip to uShaka once again great fun

The grade sevens of Hazyview Primary not only had loads of fun but learnt about Shaka Zulu and marine life during their annual trip to Durban.

A week of excitement, fun and entertainment awaited the grade sevens of Hazyview Primary during their trip to uShaka Marine World in Durban from July 26 to 31 July.

The pupils had loads of fun on the slide and in the pools, with the highest slide in the southern hemiphere providing ample excitement for the adrenaline junkies and tube rides catering for the less adventurous.

uShaka Marine World holds the largest aquarium in the southern hemisphere and the children were amazed by the diverse sea life. They also went to dolphin and seal shows, penguin presentations, shark dives and ray feeds.

One of the trip’s highlights was a visit to Shakaland, where the children learnt interesting facts about Shaka, the great Zulu king and conqueror.
