Young analytical minds impress at expo

Not only did three learners, Lunga Nkosi, Atiyyah Shaik and Safaa Jina, received gold, but one of them, Safaa, was also awarded the Eskom Prize for the best energy project.

Nelspruit Primary School achieved excellent results at the Ehlanzeni Regional Science Expo which was held on August 29 at the Penreach Shalamuka Centre. Not only did three learners, Lunga Nkosi, Atiyyah Shaik and Safaa Jina, received gold, but one of them, Safaa, was also awarded the Eskom Prize for the best energy project. With this exceptional achievement these pupils, as well as Tasmiyah Sayed, were selected to represent Mpumalanga at the International Science Fair in October. Five learners also received silver and seven bronze. Here are Lunga Nkosi, Safaa Jina, Atiyyah Shaik and Tasmiyah Sayed.
