Pupils hand out flowers to celebrate the start of spring

Accelerated Academy celebrated Casual Day and the start of spring by handing out flowers to businesses, schools and organisations in town.

Staff members and pupils of Accelerated Academy took to the streets on Friday and celebrated Casual Day and Spring Day by blessing over 42 businesses, churches, government offices and schools.

This annual tradition involved handing out with beautiful bouquets of flowers and a blessing card.

In support of people with disabilities and the national initiative of Casual Day, the staff members and pupils dressed up in civvies, slippers and a funny hat. Through this activity, pupils learnt that it is better to give than receive.

The school wishes the community a happy spring.
