Jan Small of Malelane and Leon Stolz of Komatipoort became the lucky winners of Mascor, Caltex, FreshStop, Debonaires, and Stolz Vervoer’s Gone Fishing competition, in which they will go on a five-daylong fishing trip to Mozambique. This was revealed last Friday during the winner announcement and official prize handover at FreshStop Malelane, and on Monday October 5, in Komatipoort. The competition ran from September 1 to September 30. An elated Small told Corridor Gazette that he was delighted to have won the competition and was looking forward to the trip, and Leon said he was planning to relax during the five days. As part of the prize, the winners will receive free transport to and from Mozambique, free self-catering accommodation, and paid fishing excursions. However, Mascor Malelane and Komatipoort have not stopped there. On the same day they launched a new exciting competition, Top-Up Education, which has been made possible in partnership with Securicon Lowveld in Malelane and Komatipoort, and BUCO Malelane as well as the branch in Komatipoort. This time a lucky customer stands the chance of winning R10 000 towards their child’s school. Apart from the grand prize, participants can also win weekly school hampers. All they have to do is spend a minimum of R300 cash at either Mascor Malelane and Komatipoort, BUCO in Malelane or Komatipoort, or the Securicon branches in these two towns. Competition rules can be obtained from any of the sponsor’s business premises, and till-slip entries or cash receipts can be dropped off in the entry boxes at all above-mentioned businesses.
