Matrics revel in old Hollywood glam at farewell

The grade twelves of Uplands College looked were given a glamourous send-off during their farewell, just before the holidays.

The atmosphere was filled with magic and excitement as the matrics of Uplands College arrived at their farewell in a huge electric thunderstorm.

The couples were shielded with umbrellas but had just enough time to pose for photos and show off their outfits to spectators before heading inside.

The event was held at the school just before the holidays and gave the pupils a chance to unwind before they face the final exams.

The decor reflected typical Old Hollywood style and had a glamorous vintage flair.

The menu was fit for royalty and included a cranberry-and-walnut brie starter and mushroom-and-mustard fillet medallions as the main course. To round off the evening, guests were treated to decadent chocolate cake and icy don pedros.
