Beauty pageant hosted to promote road safety campaign

Phahlabolao Projects hosted a beauty pageant at the CN Phatudi Campus to find youth representatives for its road-safety awareness campaign

PRAKTISEER – Phahlabolao Projects hosted a beauty pageant at the CN Phatudi Campus to find youth representatives for its road-safety awareness campaign.

“We will be working with the Tubatse Traffic Department by hosting road-safety awareness events and our beauty pageant winners will reach out to the community. The R37 has become notorious due to the increasing number of accidents on the road. Most of these accidents could have be avoided if the community was aware of dangers such as speeding, driving under the influence, driving while tired, lack of visibility when overtaking and lifestock next to the road,” said Mr Sipho Mmatshepo, one of the campaign organisers.
