Learners rock music night
Paul Roos added some theatrical flair to the stage with his songs from the musicals.
Pupils of Penryn’s private music department stole the show during the recent Steyn Alive Production’s open-mic night at the Lapa.
Amy-Lee Card dazzled with her set of songs which included a rendition of Adele’s “Take it all” and proved to be a crowd favourite.
Megan McFarlane livened up the crowd with her country set which had people clapping and singing along.

The patrons and attendants danced and sang along happily. Like many of them, owner of the Lapa, Kerstin Brutnell also complimented the pupils on their strong vocals and stage performances.
