The Derpatment of Social Development lead by the MEC Nomsa Mtsweni and its stakeholders will conduct an awareness event in Nkomazi Local Municipality, at Thambokhulu, Junior Aces ground today.

This day is celebrated world wide on December the 3 annually. Under the theme for this year’s celebration, “Celebrating 60 years of Freedom charter”Mtsweni aimed at increasing awareness about the right of persons with disabilities as equal citizens among society.

They will also to accelerate equal to socio-economic opportunities for persons with disabilities by making information available and accessible to them.
