Preschool holds first ever grade R graduation

Imphilo Entsha New Life Preschool in Mkhuhlu had its first-ever grade R graduation and concert at the Dutch Reformed Church on November 26.

Owner Isabel van der Linde welcomed all parents and opened with prayer before the evening, with the grade Rs anxiously awaiting the ceremony’s start.

The 13 graduates looked very grand in their caps and gowns and received their certificates from teacher Tertia Heyns. Adriana Ndala, Dumisile Mthetwa, Greg Nkuna, Katlego Mokoena, Lerato Khwiane, Mfundo Mohaule, Ndzalama Nyambi, Nokubonga Mhlongo, Percy Mnisi, Junior Ngobeni, Sakhile Malupe, Spesihle Mkhombo and Theron Mdluli successfully completed grade R.

Special awards were also handed out to Mfundo Mahaule for being friendly, hard-working, neat and loved among friends, while Percy Mnisi was voted Mr Personality and Adriana Ndala Miss Personality. Lerato Kwiana was rewarded for being neat, quiet, a sweetheart and an excellent learner.

The pupils then had their chance to shine on stage and impressed moms, dads and grandparents with delightful songs and dance routines.

The evening was concluded with delicious snacks, giving parents the opportunity to socialise and chat with teachers.
