Robbies rewarded for their diligence with schoolwork

The top academic achievers of Hoërskool Rob Ferreira were honoured for their hard work throughout 2015 at the school’s academic prize-giving ceremony on February 5.

The small group of pupils and parents celebrated high averages, colour awards for achievements and subject trophies.

The top three pupils of each grade were: Khanimamba Manzini (86,1%), Zanté Bensch (87,4%) and Laila Abdallah (98%) in gr.8, Bongiwe Fankomo (86,6%), Zelelalem Tesema (88,3%) and Nicola Rautenbach (91,8%) in gr.9, Sumari Bieldt (77,2%), Megan Buytendag (78%) and Julia Visser (82,3%) in gr.10 and Johannes Smal (80%), Arno Smith (84,7%) and Nomaan Mulla (90,5%) in gr.11.

Nomaan was also the highest achiever of the evening, winning so many awards that friends had to help him carry them. These included the subject shields for life science, mathematics, accounting, afrikaans eerste additionele taal and english home language.
