Schools to share all their activities in print media

People want the news: whether it is online or in print, news outlets continue to inform and educate readers about their communities.

Lowveld Media understands that schools form an integral part of any community and to this end, Nelspruit Post is partnering with schools in the city to bring readers and schools the My School page.

Each week, a different school will have the opportunity to run a page about their school in the newspaper, consisting of stories written and photographs taken by the pupils themselves.

The aim is to assist them in compiling news about their schools, with the additional fun aspects of laying out a page and having it printed to a wide readership.

Each school’s editorial team will lay out their offering at Lowveld Media’s office and learn how to write and package their stories well.

The pages will run only during school terms. Each time a different school will have their page in for the duration of the term. The first will appear in the first week of May.

Moreover, readers as well as parents and pupils will then have the opportunity to vote for each page by liking the post, on Nelspruit Post’s Facebook page, on the day of publication.

To support the pupils, and not to miss out on their exciting creativity, make sure you to get your free copy of the newspaper each Wednesday.

At Caxton, we employ humans to generate daily fresh news, not AI intervention. Happy reading!
