KNP’s Balule Bridge closed from 31 May for two weeks

Balule satellite camp is situated more or less in the centre of the Park. The Balule Bridge will be closed for two weeks.

SKUKUZA-The Kruger National Park (KNP)’s Balule low-level Bridge will temporarily be closed for maintenance from 31 May to 10 June 2016 and therefore will not be accessible for guests going to and from Balule Satellite Camp during that period.

“We request guests who booked at the satellite camp during the period of the closure to use the high level bridge at Olifants River, turn into gravel S89 and again on S90 to access the camp” said the KNP’s General Manager: Communications & Marketing, William Mabasa.

Balule satellite camp is situated more or less in the centre of the Park, just south of Olifants Camp, and lies close to the Olifants River. With only the most basic of facilities and no electricity, a low fence is the only barrier that separates one from the wilderness, resulting in a true back to basics experience.
