Gateway student visits the USA

A local pupil attended an international convention.

Tiffany Irons, a pupil from Gateway Christian School, recently returned from America after attending the International Student Convention (ISC). She obtained a third place in archery as well as a second place for her pastel drawing. Rebecca Joubert, who was also nominated for the ISC, came second in the 100m, first in the 200m, first in the 400m and her photo received a sixth place. To attend, the ISC students needed to be nominated according to their performance at the All Africa Student Convention. Pupils participated in various items of their choice which included sports, arts and culture. The next All Africa Student Convention will take place in December. Here is Tiffany in front of the Statue of Liberty.
