Pupils of Beacon College had the opportunity to showcase their scientific knowledge at the second round of the Eskom Expo for Young Scientists.
The science fair gave pupils a chance to exhibit their projects about their own scientific experiments and discuss them with judges, teachers and pupils from other schools.
It aimed to develop young scientists who can effectively identify a problem, find solutions for it and share the knowledge with others.
Temalangeni Phungwayo (grade 11) won a gold medal, while Meo Khumalo (grade 9), Khulekane Lekhuleni (grade 8) and Nkateko Madonsela (grade 6) each won bronze medals. All the participants and their helpers are pictured with Mr T. Chikasha.
