Bogwasha organisation donates to local schools

BURGERSFORT – Driven by the passion to give back to the community, Bogwasha Foundation, a non-profit organisation donated sanitary towels to the learners of Moukangoe Secondary School last Monday.Speaking to the pupils, chairperson of the organisation, Samuel Moraba said they want to restore the dignity of the girls.”We will supply the four schools in Ga- Motodi Village with the sanitary towels. Previously, we donated food parcels to needy families in the Tubatse area,”Moraba said. According to Moraba, over 600 learners will benefit from the donation for a period of two months.”We are looking forward to assist the schools in future, not only with sanitary pads but with leadership and vocational skills.”Other schools that received donations included Tswetlane and Marota primary schools. Bogwasha was established by locals from Ga-motodi Village, with the sole purpose of promoting social cohesion through a number of programmes.
