Two killed in head-on collision near Hectorspruit
Two people died in a vehicle accident, involving two bakkies, a taxi and police vehicle, on the N4 near Hectorspruit last night.
HECTORSPRUIT – The driver and passenger of a bakkie were killed when their vehicle collided head-on with another bakkie on the N4 near town around 23:00.
Shortly after the collision, a taxi travelling from Malalane to Komatipoort crashed into one of the bakkies. The bakkie rolled and hit a police officer that was at the scene and his police vehicle.
The police officer and driver of the second bakkie were seriously injured and the occupants of the taxi received light injuries.
