The overjoyed pupils and teachers, most of them dressed in traditional attire, braced the heat and came together as one rainbow nation.
Although the celebration was dominated by Swazi attire, other tribes which showcased their dress were the Tsonga, Sotho and Venda.
Teachers who did not dress in traditional wear were fined a stipulated amount to encourage them to be an example to the learners and to be proud of their tradition.

The celebration started just after the break and lasted for two hours.
Members of the various cultures entertained the crowd by singing traditional songs, dancing and making short speeches, much to the delight of all those who were present.
After the celebration, Bheki Thabethe, the school principal, thanked everyone who made the day so successful and encouraged the teachers and learners to be proud of their traditions.
