iCockpit: Reinventing the driving experience
The i-Cockpit intensifies the driver’s sensations enabling both driver and passengers to step into a new, exciting and stimulating environment, offering a journey in which nearly all senses are engaged instantaneously. In order to go even further in the essential search for driving pleasure, Peugeot has re-designed the driving cabin to offer an even more superior automotive experience.
The iCockpit is made up of the following 3 elements:
Compact steering wheel
The steering wheel is even more compact providing an intense, dynamic feel. The new two-spoke design offers better grip while it’s smaller diameter delivers heightened responses when cornering and provides better visibility of the key instruments. It also means less effort when making wheel-winding manoeuvres in town, such as a three-point turn or navigating car parks.
Head-up instrument panel
The head-up instrument panel displays all relevant information directly in front of the driver. The driver does not need to look away from the road and can fully concentrate on driving. This ergonomic position, made possible due to the compact proportions of the steering wheel, increases driver comfort by reducing tiredness.
iCockpit amplify
Customise the sensations you feel using iCockpit Amplify and its entirely immersive experience. Select and adapt the vehicle’s sensory environment to suit your mood or your journey in a single movement. Dynamic settings include intensity of ambient lighting, screen displays, configuration of the cabin acoustics and also a release of delicate fragrances, creating a combination for a multi-sensory, high quality experience. To better appreciate the world outside, choose the optional panoramic opening glass roof with electric blind and blue ambient lighting.
Large touchscreen with 3D navigation
An impressive large touchscreen that intuitively displays all comfort controls (radio, air conditioning etc.) and offers easy access to all of the vehicle’s information and equipment. In the GT Line your route becomes more real and intuitive with connected 3D navigation. On the touch screen or head-up digital panel, the connectivity of TomTom services displays all essential driving-related events (traffic, weather, parking, service stations) in real time.
Wireless Charging
Forget your charger at home? No problem. Simply place your phone face up on the charging mat. A green charging light will illuminate when it starts charging. This function only works on Qi compatible devices.
A commanded presence
The New Peugeot 3008 SUV GT Line captivates at first sight. Its powerful front appearance has a chiselled, chequered grille enhanced by a captivating LED lighting signature. The profile is highlighted by the line of the stainless steel rear quarter light and window trim finishers. The rear is the epitome of elegance, with a gloss black band enhanced by 3-claw LED lights.
The Peugeot 3008 SUV GT Line is resolutely sporty down to the last detail: double chrome exhaust effect trim, 19’’ Washington diamond cut alloy wheels, Nera Black door mirrors with lights that project the Peugeot logo on the ground and satin copper GT Line emblems on the tailgate and front wings.
Bi-colour paint
‘Coupe Franche’ dual colour paint design, a Peugeot signature, can be an option for increased individuality. This takes the New Peugeot 3008 SUV into another world. Teamed with Nera Black paint to the rear, customers have the choice of either Amazonite Grey, Nimbus Grey or Sunset Copper.
