Nelspruit Bakkie goes big from small beginnings
In March 2017 Anthony Delpaul and his wife Denise acquired ownership of Nelspruit Bakkie & 4x4.
“We had started with a mere seven cars on the floor.” They were nervous and unsure what the future would hold.
Fortunately, Anthony has vast experience in the motor industry, having worked for a premium brand dealership for more than 18 years. This experience played a major role in his decision to pursue a lifelong dream of owning his own dealership.
Nelspruit Bakkie & 4×4 is owner-managed and -run. The business has grown to such an extent in the last year that it calls for expansion.
“With now more than 30 vehicles in stock, we find the need to expand our horizons. Fortunately the location allows for this growth – so watch this space,” says Anthony.
“We sell a variety of vehicles up to R400 000. Market trends have changed in that SUVs and bakkies tend to be more popular. Research confirms this, and also suggests that quality pre-owned vehicles offer greater value in our current economic times.
