White River Night of the Lights in Chief Mgiyeni Khumalo Drive
It’s party time again on December 1st! The theme is carnival, lights, street party and we are going large and look forward to the involvement of everyone.

Programme
The event will kick off at 18:00. We will follow a similar programme to 2016, but with additional activities, broader participation of local organisations, partial street closure and catering for more people.

Activities
- Live bands in Country Square, in the parking of White River Square at Phat Boyz and in front of the second-hand book shop
- Street performers at various locations up and down the road including dancers, fire jugglers etc
- Food & drink stalls
- Church market and carols by candlelight
- Country Square will be setting up a jazzy atmosphere with food and lights
- White River Square is opening up their car park to music and a children’s play area and will have a car boot sale at the back parking
- Phat Boyz will have music and braais going
- Others up and down the street have committed to putting up lights and getting involved somehow.

We hope to have parades of people, bicycles, or motor bikes all dressed up in lights
Involvement
How can you get involved?
- Get your team/ family to dress up crazily and parade down the street.
- Bring your family to town and join in the fun. Light up your house in colour. Take lots of photos.
- Publicize the event widely to your friends, customers, suppliers. Invite people from far away to come and stay. Get the Nelspruiters to trek up the hill for a jol!
