Stylish send-off for Riverview Grade sevens

Riverview Prep's grade sevens were kitted out in their best dresses and other formal wear to bid their primary school career farewell last Friday.

MALALANE – Riverview Prep hosted its grade seven farewell on it’s deck on November 10, and parents had the opportunity to address their children and bless them with words of encouragement, hope and wisdom as they head off to high school next year.

A few happy and emotional tears were shed as the grade seven teacher, Ms Ruby de Kock, handed each pupil a specially chosen gift that resembled their special characters.

The formal function was followed by a dinner and a dance in the hall.
