Uplands hosts prestigious hockey tournament

Uplands College recently hosted the 17th annual u/18 Independent Schools Hockey Festival.
The festival was played across three age groups, u/14, u/16 and u/18, with a different school from around South Africa presenting each event over the course of the Easter break.
This year Uplands hosted the u/18 section, St Andrew’s Grahamstown the u/14s and St Benedict’s Johannesburg the u/16s.
Uplands welcomed Clifton, St Benedict’s, St Charles’, Crawford Lonehill, St John’s College, Michaelhouse, Bishops, Cornwill Hill College, St Alban’s College, St Andrew’s School (Bloem), Trinityhouse, and Hoërskool Nelspruit and Penryn College.
