Leolo pupils handed gifts

BURGERSFORT – Leolo Technical High School’s pupils received school uniforms, sanitary towels and toilet paper donated by Selepe Malope from the Fetakgomo Tubatse Local Municipality, and teacher Osilias Ndala Mosoma.

The donations were part of the Nelson Mandela centenary celebrations at the school. The event was attended by the pupils, parents, teachers and school governing board members. Keynote speaker Malope urged pupils to study hard to become better people. Twenty needy pupils were given a full set of uniforms.

Mosoma who is a member of the fund-raising committee said they aim to improve Leolo to be one of the best technical schools in Limpopo.

“This is an ongoing programme as the committee intends to approach the business communities to assist in building workshops, laboratories and studios following the declaration of the school as a technical school.”
