Juniors awarded for academics and sport

The junior phase (grade one to three) pupils of Numbi Primary had their prize-giving on November 28.

The smaller children were very excited to see what they would receive on the stage. Joy Khanyinda (grade one) was the junior victor ludorum and Owami Mafuyeka (grade one) the junior victrix ludorum.

The junior culture trophy went to Nea Ferreira and the Eisteddfod Trophy to Kamogelo Dibakoane. Johan van Staden was named rugby player of the year.

Best achievement per class was awarded to Mia Lategan (grade 1A), Nonthemba Ngwenya (grade 1E1), Thato Nkosi (grade 1E2), Kayla Pretorius (grade 2A), Christina Mohlabine (grade 2E1), Boitshelo Kgwedi (grade 2E2), Johan van Staden (grade 3A), Nhlulo Sambo (grade 3E1) and Nolwazi Radebe (grade 3E2).
