URGENT NOTICE: Rooidraai power interruption
The outage will last from 08:00 until 16:00.
LYDENBURG – Residents can prepare themselves for a power outage tomorrow which will last for eight (8) hours.
A notice was issued which states that those feeding from the Rooidraai substation will be switched off tomorrow (Tuesday) to allow it to be connected/synchronised to the newly built Duma substation.
The outage will last from 08:00 until 16:00.
“All customers feeding from Rooidraai substation will be affected, i.e. Sasol garage, Viljoen street up to Spur centre, Schoeman street, Maasdorp, Berg street, Sterkspruit Plotte, Rooidraai farms, etc.
We really apologize for the inconvenience caused by this short notice of a planned power outage.
Customers are requested to treat all installations as live during the outage period,” the notice read.
