Residents concerned about the terrible state of Jane Furse roads

SEKHUKHUNE – Several complaints were recently sent to the newspaper regarding the horrific condition of the road leading to Jane Furse from the steel bridge.
They revealed that people were concerned about the large potholes in the Jane Furse CBD. Others also complained about traffic lights not functioning in the area.

“The Makhuduthamaga Municipality has neglected roads in Jane Furse, the potholes are enormous. You cannot even believe you are driving in a town.
“We are fed up with this road. For years we complained to the municipality, but nothing has been done,” said Elias Makola, Mokwete resident.

“We are actually dealing with a huge backlog. In fact, the torrential rains have not stopped, making the job even more difficult for our maintenance team.
“We already started with the maintenance on the road. The road will be fully patched soon,” Morapjane said.
