The annual Corridor Buffalo Festival promises top entertainment

In less than a month, the festival will be taking the bull – correction, the buffalo by the horns in Hectorspruit.

The artist lineup has been confirmed and will be headlined by Jay & Lianie. Here are the other artists that you can look forward to seeing during the festival:

MC – Johan Yssel

Johan is an entertainer, entertainment agent, event coordinator and also promotes artists like singers, dancers and bands and helps them to find their own spot in the entertainment industry.

Johan has contracts in the Far East where he stages shows at theme parks and casinos starring local talent. He is proud to have some of the biggest casino companies in the world, like the famous Sands Casino, on his list of clients.

Many of the shows at the casinos in the “Las Vegas of the Far East”, Macau, were put together and cast by Johan.

Pieter Naudé

Pieter Naudé, born and bred in Namibia, has been in the music industry for more than two decades. Among some of his greatest achievements include writing the hit song Ska-rumba for his sister, Juanita du Plessis.

In 2004, Pieter decided to grace the stage himself and wow audiences with his country voice. Select Music was there to introduce Pieter’s first CD, Mooiste Meisie. This CD was well received by South African as well as Namibian audiences and was on the DKNT Top 10 for over 5 weeks.

He was honoured with Newcomer and Song of the Year at SA Country top 10. Pieter was also nominated as “Newcomer of the Year” at the Huisgenoot Tempo Awards in 2006 and has become a popular face and voice on TV, at festivals and other well-known places to visit.

Pieter Naudé continues to tour the country and his music and performances are enjoyed by young and old.

Karlien Husselman

Karlien has been in the entertainment industry for 13 years and without a doubt, she is one of our country’s greatest talents. She has produced numerous hits. Karlien is not only a singer but songwriter, television and stage personality.

With six albums behind her name, she achieved success by delivering a golden album. She won Ghoema and Vonk nominations with her albums. She has many number one radio hits and appears in numerous magazines.

Anthony McGee

Anthony McGee is a artist, sound engineer, MC and entertainer at KH Music 4 Life, where he does sound and mixing and is the co-artist for Karlien Husselman. He sings and mixes, helps set up and break down and drives Karlien Husselman to her performances.

Anthony McGee has accomplished many stage performances with several artists such as Karlien Husselman, Kurt Darren, The Campbells,  Manie Jackson, Lance James and many others. McGee has also hosted many events such as Sokkie Dans, Graceland’s Wine Festival and many more.

Anthony McGee helps Karlien Husselman from KH Music 4 Life with event organisation, marketing, sound engineering, driving and assistance. Anthony has a high energy level and uses his entertaining skills to please and attract crowds with his humor and jokes.
