Unique opportunity to enjoy art and meet artists
Everyone is welcome to attend the event which comprises a meander between the studios of Anton Bosch and Esra Bosch, a short distance from each other.

The Bosch family of ceramic artists, well-known in the Lowveld and countrywide, is hosting an open-studio exhibition at their studios near White River until September, daily from 08:00 to 18:00.
Everyone is welcome to attend the event which comprises a meander between the studios of Anton Bosch and Esra Bosch, a short distance from each other. This is an opportunity to converse with artists who are known for artistic excellence, in the setting of their own studios, and to browse their exhibition spaces without haste.
Esra will open her studio to show a wide range of her distinctive ceramics — striking individual pieces, vases, oil lamps, tiles and a substantial range of functional ware such as platters, bowls and dishes. Her ceramics are bold, contemporary and aesthetically pleasing.
Anton, his wife Hanlie and their daughter Nina will exhibit at Anton’s studio.

Anton’s work has been been exhibited extensively in South Africa and it is featured in various national and international collections. He will show pieces ranging from porcelain vases and bowls, to wall murals and tiles, hand-built porcelain vessels and ink drawings with a strong symbolic message.
Hanlie’s work expresses her parallel interest in the medium of both clay and painting. Apart from colourfully decorated plates and bowls, she will exhibit her latest watercolours. Nina Bosch will have her very popular range of exquisite porcelain jewellery on display.
Other local artists who will show their work are Rene Eloff, Antjie Newton, Annelie Odendaal and Maria Ziessler. Handwoven textiles from Coral Stephens Weaving in Swaziland, will also be exhibited.
Everyone is welcome. Simple refreshments will be available.
