The Indian traditional dance group from Beacon College did excellent in this year’s eisteddfod, held at the NG Kerk in Malalane last week.
The colourfully dressed young ladies won a diploma and are now proceeding to the Young Performers Awards that will be held in Johannesburg.

The awards received are:
*Eight diplomas for Indian dance and public speaking
*Forty-one gold diplomas for South Africa dance and public speaking
* Fifteen silver diplomas for public speaking
* Eight bronze diplomas for public speaking
