Tough friendly match for Naranja employees

The match was watched by the management team as well as fellow employees who cheered for every move and showboating. The tightly contested match saw quite a few goal scoring chances being created.

As part of health and wellness day celebrations, Indigo Fruit Farming’s Naranja employees participated in a friendly soccer match on Friday. Indigo Fruit Farming FC locked horns with their counterparts Naranja Packers FC. The players showed their skills and entertained soccer fanatics on the day.

The final result was a 1-1 draw. It was left to dreaded penalties to determine the winner. Naranja FC were clinical in their spot kicks, winning the match 5-4. Among the players who were exceptional on the day, were the likes of Ruhan Strydom, Tebogo Dimo, Thomas Ticharwa and Emmanuel Maphanga. The winning team was handed a trophy and gold medals.
