This certificate means that she is water-safe – and this in just two months of training. “Mathabo can now jump into the pool’s deep end and swim all the way to the other side, dive in and fetch things from the bottom and jump into the deep end, turn around and swim to the side,” says Nokka Ferreira of Swanswim.

“Now that Mashego can do all of that, she can now learn the four swimming strokes to achieve her next certificate.”
