Rain causes several accidents on N4

The continuous rain in the Onderberg contributed to some accidents on the local roads over the past week.

On Monday five vehicles were involved in two separate incidents. Patients with minor injuries were transported to hospitals in Mbombela. On the scenes were LowMed EMS, Nkomazi EMS, MBM Fire, provincial traffic officials and TRAC N4.
“We request motorists to reduce speed in these conditions and to not overtake on solid lines, as these are the major causes of accidents,” said Pieter du Plooy, a medic at LowMed EMS.
