Two local pool players have made it to the national blackball championships. Keletso Phaswane and Sello Phala from Riba Cross are among the best 10 players in Limpopo. The duo were recently selected to represent the province in the competition.

The national blackball championships will be organised between March 20 and 28 at the Jonibach Sports Centre in Pretoria.

Sello Phala will represent Limpopo in the national blackball championships.

The lads were selected in the B team of the Limpopo side. For the two to qualify for the finale, Phaswane obtained position eight in the Limpopo qualifiers while Phala was position 10.

Another local player, Paul Master Modibe, made it to the reserves team. He obtained position 13 in the provincial qualifiers.

Keletso Phaswane and Sello Phala will represent Limpopo in the national blackball championships.

Modibe said they recently started a blackball snooker team in Tubatse to prepare themselves for provincial qualifiers.
