What it’s like to live with depression
Depression, one of the most misunderstood words and conditions in the world. Most people think of depressed people as "emo" or "dark". The matter of the fact is that if you do not suffer from depression, it is impossible for you to understand what it is like. Here is a quick look into the mind of someone who suffers from depression.
You wake up, before you open your eyes you know today will be a bad day, you hit the alarm on snooze hoping the phone will melt away. The mere thought of you having to put your fee on the floor is torture. In your mind, the floor is like lava while your bed is sucking you in.

Its difficult to think clearly and make informed decisions. Your mood is low and no matter who is telling you what, you cannot cheer up. You do not have a switch for happy or sad. Everyone passing you on the street feels like you are being judged. You feel worthless, confused and trapped.

You feel trapped in this world where everyone always smiles and everyone else besides you is always happy. For some moments you wish not to exist, but you hang on for those blissful moments that cracks a smile on your face.
You find a reason to be, to exist even if it’s one day at a time. Cause if you survived today, its a mission accomplished!
