All Mpumalanga public library services to be suspended with immediate effect
Following the recent announcements by President Cyril Ramaphosa regarding Covid-19 and not having more than 100 people in a particular space, libraries will be closed until further notice.

The statement read as follows, “An observation has been made through gathered statistics that public libraries are now experiencing an increase of up to more than 100 people per day due to learners from tertiary institutions and schools visiting libraries. ”
According to the statement, this is a major health risk. Therefore, the municipalities are instructed to ensure that public libraries close with immediate effect.
